«Hazrat Sultan» Mosque
The Hazret Sultan Mosque is the largest and one of the most remarkable religious landmarks in Astana. Opened in 2012, it occupies an area of 13 hectares. The main dome rises to 51 meters, while the four minarets each reach 77 meters in height. The mosque can accommodate up to 10,000 worshippers at once. Its interior combines traditional Kazakh patterns with Islamic ornamental designs, creating a unique spiritual atmosphere. The complex also includes a library and classrooms. Hazret Sultan Mosque is a true symbol of Kazakhstan’s spiritual revival, unity, and faith, and a major attraction for both believers and visitors.
