"Saryarka" Republican Cycling Track
Republican velodrome – in the shape of the cycler’s helmet – has already been recognized as one of the most original sports facilities. It covers 58 000 sq.m. and hosts various sports halls based on types of activities, fitness center, swimming pool, basketball court, ice rink, conference halls, restaurant and hotel.
The track has a wooden coat. The length of the coat is 250 meters. For the convenience of cyclers, the track’s slope is 42 degrees at the turning points and 12.5 degrees at straight segments. The width of the track is 7 meters. Cyclers always move counterclockwise.

Width - 7 m.
Coating is wooden.
Species of wood – Siberian cedar.
Capacity of the facility is 9200 seats. After the Asian Games were hosted, the facility is now used for various republican and global competitions as well as for athletes’ training campaign. Moreover, the structure is used for concerts, press conferences, and briefings.
