Presidential Residence “Ak Orda”
Ak Orda is the official residence of the President of Kazakhstan and a symbol of state power. It is one of the most recognizable buildings in Astana, located on the left bank of the Ishim River in the very heart of the capital.
The building impresses with its architecture — white marble, elegant columns, and a sky-blue dome crowned with a golden spire that symbolizes the nation’s aspiration for a bright future.
The interiors are decorated with marble, crystal, and elements reflecting Kazakhstan’s national ornaments. Within its walls, Ak Orda hosts major state and international meetings, ceremonies, and negotiations that shape the country’s strategic direction. Ak Orda is more than a building — it is an architectural embodiment of modern Kazakhstan: strong, open to the world, and striving for progress.
