About the Excursion
What to Expect
Bayanaul — one of the oldest national parks in Kazakhstan, located as an island of pine forests and granite hills in the middle of the steppe plain. Here, uniquely shaped rocks sculpted by wind and time into figures resembling animals and people stand alongside the crystal-clear lakes of Sabandykol, Zhasybay and Toraygyr.
These places are connected with legends about the batyr Zhasybai, after whom one of the lakes was named, as well as with the name of academician Kanysh Satpayev — a native of this area, whose name is given to one of the region’s museums. The route introduces guests to the park’s key viewpoints and natural landmarks, and concludes with a set lunch and an entertainment programme.
Included: Astana–Bayanaul–Astana transfer; guide services; set lunch; visits to the region’s top locations; entertainment programme.
