Immerse yourself in the history of the Akmola Camp for Wives of Traitors of the Motherland (ALZHIR) — the “Secrets of Malinovka” tour will take you through the territory of the memorial museum complex, introduce you to authentic exhibits and reveal the real stories of the women who were imprisoned there.

You will enjoy an engaging guided tour with a thematic film screening, where every detail reveals the significant history of Malinovka.

During the tour, you will learn: how and why the ALZHIR camp was created; the fates of women and children who went through the camp; the living, working and survival conditions of prisoners; real stories, letters and memories of female prisoners; the role of the camp in the GULAG system; and how the memory of the victims of repression is preserved today.

The tour takes place on the territory of the memorial museum complex and includes visits to exhibitions, monuments and authentic historical artefacts.

Price: 15,000 KZT per person (adult) / 8,500 KZT (children under 14). Pensioners and students receive a 5% discount.
