Оpening of the exhibition "Uniting Art: Kazakhstan - India"
At 15:30 on June 6, 2024, the Presidential Center of the Department of Presidential Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan will host the launch of the exhibition "Uniting Art: Kazakhstan-India".
The event is organized by the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Republic of India in the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the "Nemalevichi" Watercolor Workshop in Pavlodar, within the framework of the international project of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Dialogue through Culture".
The exhibition's primary goal is to foster bilateral cultural relationships between India and Kazakhstan, two countries with rich spiritual and historical traditions.
The exhibition will feature 90 watercolor works by 25 authors.
Sixty-nine of these pieces represent the Watercolor Workshop "Nemalevichi." Its paintings feature stunning landscapes of Kazakhstan and India, ethnic motifs, architectural topics, still lifes, and portraits.
Also on display for the first time is a series of 21 watercolor paintings titled "Winter Landscapes of Kazakhstan" by Indian artist Ram Viranjan. The author was inspired to create amazing, fascinating winter panoramas of the Kazakh countryside.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Kazakhstan Nagendra Prasad, representatives of the diplomatic corps of foreign countries, and cultural institutions will attend the opening ceremony.
