This is a tour of remembrance and reflection — a trip to the Memorial and Museum Complex ALZHIR, where the Akmola camp for the wives of “traitors to the Motherland” once stood. Here the voices of those who suffered in the era of repression are heard, and the memory of the innocent victims of totalitarianism is preserved.

What to Expect

The tour is planned to visit the key locations of the ALZHIR museum — the memorial arch-monument, the museum building, the interior exhibition halls and external objects. It is an opportunity to touch tragic pages of history and pay tribute to the innocent.
