«Sleza» ballet

The world premiere of the new ballet "Sleza", created by world-famous choreographers Sol Leon and Paul Lightfoot, will take place on May 25 and 26 at the Astana Ballet Theater as part of the Ballet Globe International Festival.

The one-act ballet was created for Diana Vishneva, prima ballerina of the Mariinsky Theatre, principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre (2005-2017). Sol Leon and Paul Lightfoot are recognized worldwide as a creative duo, for 35 successful years associated with the Dutch Dance Theater (NDT) and its establishment as an important center of attraction and development of modern dance.
