The 31st Asia Basketball Championship among men's national teams under the auspices of FIBA (Asia) is the most prestigious tournament in this sport in Asia.
Saudi Arabia hosts the tournament, scheduled to take place from August 5 to 17, 2025. The current champions are the Australian national team.
In the qualification tournament, 24 teams are participating. The top two teams from each group qualify for the final tournament, and the six teams finishing third will play another qualification tournament for the remaining four spots. Matches will be held in three windows: February 2024, November 2024, and February 2025.
In the qualification tournament, Kazakhstan will compete in Group "E" alongside Iran, India, and Qatar.
