Gala Ballet (Astana Ballet)

The Astana Ballet Theater presents the Ballet Gala program dedicated to the Capital Day, which promises the audience many discoveries and bright impressions. The program will include excerpts from the most striking productions over the 11 years of the theater’s history.

The festive gala concert is the magic of dance, a fireworks display of emotions and the incredible skill of the artists! Such an evening is ideal both for regular spectators who want to immerse themselves in the best moments of their favorite performances in one evening, and for the first acquaintance with theater productions. The viewer can expect a cascade of virtuoso solo, duet and mass ballet numbers against the backdrop of bright costumes and scenery.

The evening program will feature excerpts from cult classical and neoclassical performances - “La Bayadère”, “Scheherazade”, “Romeo and Juliet”, “Spartacus” and many others; ballet by Brazilian choreographer Ricardo Amarante – “Love Fear Loss”; author's and national ballets; as well as choreographic miniatures from concert programs.
