The monument «Otan Korgaushylar»

Fountains in front alley, courageous faces on low relief, figure of mother in sorrowful silence andEternal Fire – memory of national heroism. «Otan Korgaushylar» monument is one of the most beautiful in the country. Bronze stele with mother figure stands on square elevated base with green slopes on three sides and wide staircase leading to it.

Battle of the Kazakhs with Dzhungars and participation of Kazakh people in the Great Patriotic War were expressed on both sides of the stele. Symbolic cup which holds the Motherland in her hands is covered with thin layer of gold leaf. Memorial with height of 24 meters contains 63 tons of pure Karaganda bronze.
