Museum of Art — one of the main artistic centers of Kazakhstan, showcasing the rich heritage of national and world art. The museum’s collection includes works by Kazakhstani painters, sculptors, and masters of decorative and applied arts, as well as pieces by classical artists of world painting. The modern building combines elegant architecture with spacious halls that regularly host exhibitions, art projects, and cultural events.

History

Museum of Art – A new modern cultural center opened with the support of the Astana city administration. The museum features rare musical instruments of the Kazakh people, similar instruments from Turkic-speaking peoples, as well as a collection of traditional Kazakh headwear.

The museum includes a research laboratory-workshop named after organologist, ethnographer, and scholar B. Sarybayev. All conditions are provided for masters creating national instruments. With the administration's support, a modern technical and material base ensures convenience and precision for instrument researchers.

Visitors can see ancient instruments that were once used to signal during wars and nomadic campaigns but were forgotten over time. The process of making these instruments is also demonstrated.
