Lecture on art "The Paris School"
"The School of Paris" is a unique phenomenon in art: it's a place, a time, and its people. At the beginning of the 20th century, the City of Light brought together young and talented artists from various countries. Pablo Picasso from Spain, Amedeo Modigliani from Italy, Marc Chagall, and Chaim Soutine from Russia. They were youthful, full of energy and fresh ideas. Paris, with its magnificent cultural diversity, became a source of inspiration and a platform for realization for each of them.
The speaker, Olga Baturina, a professor of art history, presents the material in a storytelling format. Those new to art note the accessible delivery, while scholars appreciate the depth and volume of information.
Lectures last about 1.5 hours, after which attendees can ask questions to the speaker, discuss the topic, and download the presentation in PDF for independent study.
