NNMC is the only Center in Central Asia that has received permission to use stem cells in the clinic. The center has opened a Kazakh-American laboratory for stem cell transplantation with a cryobank. Since 2012, the center has been performing organ and cell transplantation operations, and by the decision of the FDA, our center was included in the database of safe clinics for international research. In June 2010, the center was certified to the level of "Recognized Excellence-4 stars", and in November 2012 - to the level of "Recognized excellence — 5 stars" of the EFQM model.
The center develops the most relevant areas of healthcare and medical science in Kazakhstan: cell technologies, cardiology, cardiac surgery and arrhythmology, respiratory medicine, solves complex problems of the clinic of internal diseases and surgery.

Performs operations to restore open heart valves:
aortic valve;
mitral valve;
pulmonary trunk valve;
tricuspid valve.
Heart Valve Replacement Surgery:
replacement of the aortic valve using a biological prosthesis;
mitral valve replacement using a tissue graft;
tricuspid valve replacement using a tissue graft;
replacement of the pulmonary valve using a tissue graft.
Restoration of the defect of the atrial and interventricular septum using a prosthesis and other materials:
resection of tumors of the mediastinal organs and the heart;
excision of a cyst in the mediastinal organs and the heart;
bypass surgery for the purpose of revascularization of the heart;
operation of coronary artery bypass grafting of one, two, three, four or more coronary arteries.2.
2. Askarov Manarbek Bapovich
Head of the Center for Cell Technologies and Transplantation. Doctor of Medical Sciences. Work experience - 24 years.
Performs:
autogenic transplantation of hematopoietic bone marrow stem cells;
autogenic bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell transplantation;
fetal cell transplantation (thyroocytes, hepatocytes, chondrocytes, pancreatic cells, nephrocytes, neurocytes, fibroblasts);
transplantation of fetal mediators (neurotransmitters and mediators of fetal hepatocytes).
3. Ulan Temirzhanovich Kabaev
Head of the Department of Arrhythmology. Doctor of Medical Sciences. Work experience – 23 years.
Performs the following operations:
implantation of CRT and ICD;
electrical stimulation;
RFA;
cryoablation;
implantation of a device for closing the left atrial appendage;
exchange of electrodes;
replacement of the pacemaker.
