The main characters of the play are a stray cat and a dog who was abandoned by the owner. Resentment, pain and disappointment in people push little friends in search of a magic door, behind which lies a wonderful country. Where kind people live, where all the animals are well fed and happy. On the way to the cherished door, the heroes meet with the Marquise cat, bullies and even a big cat Fairy. As a result, fleeing fr om persecution, they end up in the hospital, in the ward of a sick boy who, like them, is very lonely. His kindness and affection warms the embittered souls of the heroes. And as a result, it turns out that the magic door is not far off, but in our hearts. It is worth opening it and we will get into this wonderful country wh ere everyone loves and protects each other.
