The Palace of Pioneers was opened on March 1, 1988, and was named after Yuri Malakhov. In the early 90s, literary and creative, biogeographic, "Young Astronomer", "Young Parachutist", vocal, choreography, applied art actively worked at the palace.

In 1998, the first residential complexes built by domestic construction companies and the Samal microdistrict built by Turkish builders appeared on the embankment of the Yesil River.

In the park of the Duman Hotel there is a monument to the great Kazakh kuishi (composer) Kurmangazy, the founder of the Kazakh dombra school. The Kurmangazy monument is a sculptural composition cast from bronze, mounted on a pedestal 5.5 m high. The height of the monument reaches 10 m . The pedestal is faced with granite and consists of 2 parts – the lower and upper, on which 3 thematic bas-reliefs are installed, complementing the image of the great composer and reflecting the events of the era in which he lived.

The Ailand Family Recreation Center started its activity in 2003. "Ailand" is located in the left-bank part of the city of Nur-Sultan along the transport artery along the Kurgaldzhinsky highway with its own parking area. The idea of creating a family recreation center "Ailand" belongs to the head of state - N.A.Nazarbayev. The Ailand center consists of the only aquarium in Kazakhstan, remote from the oceans and seas by more than 3,000 thousand km, a unique, unparalleled Animatronics theater "Jungle", the first indoor water park in Nur-Sultan, with an area of 8,500 square meters, with seven different slides and comfortable spa areas, a banquet hall, a chain of restaurants "Monteverde" and the largest Ferris wheel in Kazakhstan with a height of 65 meters, which allows you to see all the beauty of our capital.

The whole recognizable Kazakhstan, everything that nature and man have endowed it with, is represented in the ethno-memorial complex map of Kazakhstan - "Atameken". The square of state symbols was opened on July 6, 2009 by the First President of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev in the center of Nur-Sultan, on the site of the Memorial to the victims of political Repression, which had previously been moved to the village of Akmol near Nur-Sultan. The largest flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan is flying over the square. According to the idea of the head of state, this square hosts the taking of the oath by military personnel, the presentation of state prizes and awards, as well as the celebration of the Day of State Symbols of the country, taking place on June 4.

The gallery "TSE Art destination" is located in the historical center of the capital. It was founded in 2017 by the curator, art critic Dina Baytasova.

The Musical Theater of the Young spectator is one of the youngest theaters in the capital. The theater officially opened on October 1, 2020. The theater opened its first season with M. Auezov's musical drama "Abai-Togzhan".
