Monument to Khan Kenesary
This monument is one of the symbols of independence and restored Kazakh statehood of Kazakhstan. Kenesary Kasymov (1802-1847) - 32 Kazakh Khan, grandson of Ablai Khan, Genghisid by origin, leader of the most massive uprising for the independence of the country against Russian colonial policy in the 19th century.

Pedestrian bridge "Sernen"

Metropolitan Park

Kurmangazy Monument
In the park of the Duman Hotel there is a monument to the great Kazakh kuishi (composer) Kurmangazy, the founder of the Kazakh dombra school. The Kurmangazy monument is a sculptural composition cast from bronze, mounted on a pedestal 5.5 m high. The height of the monument reaches 10 m . The pedestal is faced with granite and consists of 2 parts – the lower and upper, on which 3 thematic bas-reliefs are installed, complementing the image of the great composer and reflecting the events of the era in which he lived.

The area of state symbols
The square of state symbols was opened on July 6, 2009 by the First President of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev in the center of Nur-Sultan, on the site of the Memorial to the victims of political Repression, which had previously been moved to the village of Akmol near Nur-Sultan. The largest flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan is flying over the square. According to the idea of the head of state, this square hosts the taking of the oath by military personnel, the presentation of state prizes and awards, as well as the celebration of the Day of State Symbols of the country, taking place on June 4.
